This compilation of snippets of blonde movie actresses from Mae West to Bo Derek is interesting, yet lacking in substance and research. It seems that the first three-fourths of the book gives those actresses semi-rounded out biographies, but as the last quarter goes, the author seems to have run out of steam and barely fleshes out the biographies. I believe this book would be better if more research and time was spent giving each actress more of an in-depth, thruthful biography with longer chapters. The photographs, however, were appropos and contributed nicely to the book.Product details

It is obvious that the author truly has a passion for this subject. If you enjoy books on Hollywood actresses then this book is for you. It is a book filled with history and knowledge that anyone would enjoy. The value of this book is worth much more than the price the author is offering it to you for. I would highly recommend you grab this now! *****Be sure and check out her other books. She is an extremely talented writer and her books on Eliot Ness are very engaging.*****
This is the kind of self-published nonsense you ought to avoid at all costs. How does the author spell one of her "blondes," Tippy Hedren, for example? "Tippy Hedron" of course. Enough said.
This is a poorly written account of sketches of famous movie stars. The facts presented were not researched well and contain a lot of untruth. If you are going to have a book on these ladies, at least take the time and effort to do it right. I was disappointed.
